(Whew! Dodged that bullet. I'm ALL for camping out, but here in Texas, it's 90 degrees and 70% humidity. Not to mention that "Camping Out" with church activities means pitching a tent in a pasture. That's just not "Camping Out".)
Anyway, so when I got back from Albertson's with some boxed candy for the movie, Jadi saw it and wanted some. I told her no, that's for Danny and me at the movie. Immediately, she's begging to come. Like the Seagulls in Finding Nemo: I want to go! I want to go! I want to go!
Sorry Sweetness, this is a Father/Son activity...Guys night out...Daddy/Danny time. She turns around, tucks her hair up behind her head, and in a deeper voice says "But I'm your son Eric. I want to go on the Father/Son movie night too."
It was pretty funny, but like any good comedian, she's got to take it to the next level. She pops into the den with a hat on, saying "Look Dad, this is Eric, I really want to go with you and Danny to see this movie."

How quick is she. I would have totally given in to that one, but that shows what a push over I am. I hear you about camping out at ward camp outs, by the time we are done, I hate everyone in our ward. Now we just go for dinner and the campfire, and save the camping out just for our family.
You've got to watch that girl! I love it!
As, for father/son campouts, I LOVE them because Dan takes the whole gang away for a night. It's amazing what I can accomplish!

So how's everything your way? HOT here!!!! I got an email from Bonnie Borda and Serina Rupert. Reunion stuff....we haven't decided on the Carson trip yet...stupid gas prices!!!
That is too funny, Steve! Jadi is so cute, she could never pull off looking like a boy. I wonder where she came up with the name Eric (maybe it's a secret crush, Ha!)

hey steve! this is melanie's cousin natalie. your kids are so big now! don't worry, i dressed up in my brother's clothes just like jadi and i turned out OK. we hope you guys are doing well! i can't wait to see what this year's halloween picture will be. the pirates of the caribbean one is still the greatest in my mind.
